Drilling
The Company's strategy is to test for continuity of mineralization below past producing mines. The plan includes the evaluation and blocking of mineralization to explore the possibilities of a near term production decision while continuing to explore and evaluate numerous other larger areas of thicker mineralization.
The main mineralization found in the San Luis project area is associated with quartz veins structurally controlled by main fault lines. These gold-silver bearing veins and stockwork are in an epithermal environment with low to medium levels of sulphidation. The gold-silver veins occur over a vertical zonation of more than 500 metres which could indicate a vertical continuity of mineralization. The mineralized area spans over six kilometres by three kilometres. The Company intends to explore this potential by strategically drilling existing known veins of several past producing mines. The main veins in the sector are: San Jorge, Merceditas, El Callao, Los Azules and La Castellana.
